Galina Combined Cadet Force battlefield tours will emphasise that the role of the CCF is to help young people to understand responsibility and the importance of perseverance as well as to develop a sense of self-reliance and resourcefulness.  The roles of leadership and discipline will also be considered together with the purpose and functions of defence forces.  Finally, such a tour will enhance an appreciation of the concepts of duty and service to the community.

All tour participants will receive maps and notes relating to the battlefield they are visiting.  Within the chronology of either the First or Second World War groups will be introduced to the following:
