The Tank Museum, Bovington, Dorset

The Tank Museum, Bovington has the best collection of armoured vehicles in the world. Bovington has been the home of the tank since 1916 when it became the Tank Corps HQ. Today the Museum houses a unique collection of over 300 vehicles ~ including the world’s first tank, the feared German Tiger tank & the modern Challenger 2 ~ telling the story of armoured warfare from WWI to the present day.

As well as our standard tours, available on most dates, we can arrange visits incorporating one of the Special Events taking place throughout the year. You could even add a visit to Portsmouth’s historic dockyard or D-Day Museum on a two-day tour.

One-day tours are suitable for groups located up to 120 miles from Bovington. Two-day tours are more suitable for groups located between 120 & 250 miles from Bovington. Longer tours can be arranged for groups that are further away. Local pick-up & return times will be dependent upon your group’s location.

All prices are per person & based on 40 paying clients plus 2 free places. Quotations available for groups between 20 & 39.  A tour director is included in the prices shown. There is a £10 per person discount available for groups that do not require a tour director.
